Stretching across 180km of Malaga’s coast, La Senda Litoral is a serene seaside stroll. One section of the wooden walkway starts at Mijas Costa and ends in Marbella.
The wide stretch of boardwalk is a pleasant outdoor attraction where you can enjoy a less developed part of the coast. It is ideal for a walk, bike ride or run and it allows you to discover hidden beach spots tucked away from the crowds.
Here, the coast is wilder than other parts of the province and wildlife is encouraged. For example, you can spot a variety of seabirds along the beaches.
The coastal path is a relatively new investment which hopes to link the entire coastline of Malaga’s province.
This particular part of the path is a lovely escape from the developed Costa del Sol and is recommended if you are in the Mijas area.
