Last week, my boyfriend and I hired a scooter to explore the island. With warm weather, deep blue skies and empty beaches before the start of the season, we saw Ibiza in all it’s beauty. (The weather since then has made me realise that May can be an unpredictable month to visit!) Here are a few photos of the islands stunning countryside that we were lucky enough to enjoy by ourselves in the blissful sunshine.
Side note: after trying both, I’d probably recommend hiring a car over a scooter here. Although we looked pretty cool zooming around, the freshness of the evenings and the cold winds meant it wasn’t the most comfortable way to get around the island. Ibiza’s bigger than you think and if you want to explore the north, it’s a little far to do by scooter. Also helmets can be a pain: you never know where to put them, they hurt your head and you get terrible helmet hair! Ignore the chic image and go for the comfy option.
